We recently had the pleasure of catching up with the gorgeous Jazz Bell. This TV personality, model and singer is known for wearing bright colours and prints, so we had a few questions about her personal style and how she styles her Bared.
What draws you to wear colour?
I love colour and patterns and I feel happy when I wear them. My entire wardrobe is colourful so it’s an easy choice for me.
What’s your knack for teaming prints and colour? Do you go head to toe or mix it up?
I’m a big fan of a co-ord. My Mum used to dress me in co-ords when I was a kid and I guess I never stopped. I love to clash prints – I just started wearing my favourite pieces regardless of whether they went together (as per fashion “rules”) and I liked it, so I just kept doing it.
You are always in colourful shoes. Do you find them hard to team with outfits? What is your secret?
Not at all! A colourful shoe is the ultimate accessory. If you find the right pair a colourful shoe always works, so even if I’m having a bad outfit day and things aren’t fitting right, I can always put on my favourite shoes and it makes the difference. I think of shoes as an accessory just like a pair of earrings or sunglasses, and usually for me most of those are colourful and fun.
What are you top three colours at the moment?
I’m loving green! My favourite outfit at the moment is the Vero Moda skirt and top co-ord with watermelon tones through it that I pair with Bared sneakers. Yellow is always in my wardrobe all year round and red has also popped by to say hello.
What clothing brands do you like to team with your Bared shoes?
Fave brands of the moment:
Melbourne label – Kholo
Vero Moda – Great dresses and skirts
Marimekko – I love the Unikko print
I also love to look for great prints at vintage/op shops.
